OUR FIELDS
We had two sites and 5 fields. Elsie Allen High School had four fields which we prepped by dragging each day and watering down on game days. Southwest Community Park just had one field which we tried to keep up but was hard due to a lot of weeds on the field. Our plan for next year is to find a different location and have the City of Santa Rosa helps up with the upkeep of the fields.

At both locations, we had sheds where we kept our supplies including extra equipment, if needed, Junior Giants program materials, tables, a canopy, and extra hats and shirts.

We used a whiteboard at the check-in table to let parents know where to go. With four fields, two in the front and two in the back, we rotated where teams played. The back fields were a bit a of walk and we wanted to be fair. Parents did grumble about the walk but liked that we rotated where we played.

Game days always ran smoothly as we sent a plan prior to game start time. Our league had great parent turn out and it was awesome to see other family members show up for games.
